Services vs. solutions: which do you need?

At Hodeitek we work with you in two ways. Services are specialized, time-bound engagements — security audits, penetration testing, GRC consulting, incident response, threat hunting — that resolve one specific offensive, defensive or strategic security need with a defined scope and deliverable. Solutions, on the other hand, combine several of those services with HodeiShield, our own platform, to address a broader business challenge: meeting a regulation such as NIS2, DORA, ENS or ISO 27001, securing an entire supply chain, or sustaining a continuous security program over time. Put simply: a service is the building block; a solution is the set of blocks assembled around a specific regulatory or sector-wide objective. If you already know exactly what you need — a one-off audit, a penetration test, a defined consulting engagement — start with the services. If your challenge is broader — complying with a regulation, protecting your entire supply chain, or maintaining an ongoing security posture — explore the solutions instead. Either path reaches the same team and the same standard of work, with no opaque subcontracting.
