Articles and whitepapers produced under the editorial process described here are researched and drafted with the help of artificial intelligence, and a member of the team always approves them before publication. Earlier articles predate this process and were not produced this way. This page explains the process so you can judge how reliable what you read is.
1. Human review
No piece is published without the explicit approval of a member of the Hodeitek team. Human review checks the angle, technical accuracy and tone before every publication, and we record who approved each piece and when.
Hodeitek takes editorial responsibility for everything it publishes on its blog and in its whitepapers, regardless of the tools used to prepare it.
2. Primary sources
Every piece published under this process includes a “Sources” section listing the primary sources it relies on: official legal texts, advisories from public bodies, original vendor and researcher reports. We do not use content from direct competitors as a source.
Factual claims (figures, dates, vulnerability identifiers, regulatory references) are checked against those sources before human review, through an automated check run by an AI provider different from the one that drafts the text. Anything that cannot be verified is removed or flagged.
3. Corrections policy
If we find or are told about a mistake, we correct it as soon as possible. When an article is updated, we say so visibly with the “Last updated” line and reflect the date in the structured data (dateModified). We do not remove errors without a record.

4. Use of artificial intelligence
We use artificial intelligence tools to research, draft, translate and adapt texts into English, and to check facts. AI never publishes on its own: every text goes through human review before it goes out.
Article cover images are generated with AI. They are abstract illustrations, not photographs, and do not depict real people. The short videos we publish on social media use a synthetic voice generated by AI.
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), Article 50(4), exempts AI-generated text from the disclosure requirement when it is published to inform the public on matters of public interest and has undergone human review or editorial control and a natural or legal person holds editorial responsibility. Our process is designed to meet that condition. We still disclose our use of AI here for transparency.

Articles signed “Equipo de Hodeitek” are the product of the editorial process described on this page. When an article is signed by a specific person, their name and role are shown.
